She had never had an eye exam (she was 74) and was thrilled to to find a doctor who she could understand. Hite is fluent in Spanish and recalls his favorite patient story about a Spanish speaking patient. His areas of specialty include Ocular Disease Management, Pediatric Eye Care, Contact Lenses, Surgical Co-Management, Primary Care Optometry, Dry Eye Management and Refractive Patient Care.ĭr. He has worked in the Optometry field since 2007, as an Optometric Assistant and Optician until he started Optometry School. He decided to pursue a career that could help others maintain the best vision possible. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Southern College of Optometry in 2013. Her frustrations with life changing vision loss resonated with him. He watched his grandmother, who lived with the family, suffer the effects of end stage Macular Degeneration. ![]() His interest in pursuing Optometry was developed as a child.
